ReadOn July 21, 2025, Gao Yonghong, Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Management Committee of Yangquan High-tech Zone, and Yang Yarong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Yangquan Valve Co., Ltd., along with their delegation, thoroughly studied and understood the important speech delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping during his inspection tour of Shanxi Province. The first stop of their study tour on high-quality development of the valve industry was at Lianggu Valve Group in Longwan District, Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province. Group Chairman Pan Chengtao, General Manager Pan Junxiang, and Chief Technical Engineer Qu Dehu, along with other group leaders, warmly welcomed the delegation and discussed the deep integration of the revitalization of traditional manufacturing with new-quality productivity, jointly writing a new chapter in the construction of a manufacturing powerhouse.
With the deepening implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative, Chinese manufacturing is serving an increasing number of key international projects with reliable quality and superior strength. Recently, Lianggu Valve Group successfully shipped high-voltage power station valves for the coal-fired power integration project in Block 1 of the Thar Coalfield in Pakistan, providing a solid valve protection solution for the project.
The 600MW (megawatt) unit steam extraction molten salt energy storage project in Hebei Province is the country's first thermal power side molten salt energy storage demonstration project. It has pioneered the technology of molten salt energy storage for thermal power extraction steam in China and opened up a new technical path for thermal power units to significantly improve their peak-shaving capacity.
