A 1,600-megawatt modern combined cycle gas-fired power plant is standing in the Surkhandarya region of southern Uzbekistan. It is not only the largest single combined cycle power plant in the country to date, but is also regarded as an important project to solve the local power shortage and promote the green transformation of the energy structure.

As a key project in energy cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative, the Sukandaya project adopts an advanced combined cycle design and is expected to be commercially operational in 2027. It aims to provide stable baseload capacity to the Uzbek power grid with high thermal efficiency and lower unit emissions. The project plans to use a combination of high-efficiency gas turbines and waste heat boilers to achieve a system efficiency of over 60%.
Power plant valves, though seemingly just "parts," are core components ensuring unit safety, operational efficiency, and equipment lifespan. Reliability First: For operating conditions such as high temperature and high pressure, and frequent start-stop, high-strength alloys and strict heat treatment processes are used to ensure long-term stable operation of the valve.
Process and Testing: Full-process CNC machining, coordinate measuring machine/sonic/pressure testing and other testing methods ensure that each valve meets the power plant acceptance standards and international specifications.
Delivery and Assurance: Production and testing are carried out in strict accordance with international standards, with complete technical documents and materials provided to ensure the smooth integration of products into the engineering system.
Customization capabilities: We can provide tailor-made valve solutions for key components such as the steam system next to the steam turbine, the bypass next to the waste heat boiler, the gas side, and the main steam system.


The Sukandaya project brought together international OEMs, EPC contractors, and equipment suppliers from multiple countries, with stringent engineering management standards and standardized acceptance procedures.
