First Delivery of Pneumatic-Hydraulic Fully Welded Ball Valves for Central Asia

The first batch of gas-hydraulic interlocking fully welded ball valves for the Central Asia natural gas project were delivered.

Recently, the first batch of fully welded ball valves for a Central Asia natural gas transmission project has completed manufacturing and entered staged shipment.

The valves will be used in main gas transmission pipelines and station control systems, covering sizes from DN1000 to DN1200 (40″-48″), designed for Class 600 pressure rating, serving critical nodes of regional energy transmission networks. The project serves a key regional energy transportation network.

The pipeline system operates in harsh environments, crossing desert and plateau regions, with long-distance transmission, high pressure, and large temperature differences between day and night. This places strict requirements on valve structural stability, sealing reliability, and long-term operational consistency.

Engineering Design for Long-Distance Transmission


These fully welded ball valves adopt an integral welded body design, suitable for direct buried pipelines and long-term maintenance-free operation.

Compared with split-body structures, the fully welded design reduces potential leakage paths and improves structural integrity, making it more suitable for natural gas trunk line applications requiring long service life and high safety levels.

For high-pressure service conditions, the valve design includes optimized ball machining, sealing structure, and precision control of mating surfaces to ensure stable sealing performance under Class 600 pressure rating conditions.


Actuation and Control System Integration


Each valve is equipped with a pneumatic-hydraulic actuator system, designed for remote operation and interlocking control in long-distance pipeline networks.

This system is widely used in unmanned or centralized control stations, providing high torque output and stable actuation performance for emergency shut-off and remote pipeline management.

Each valve undergoes full assembly testing and actuator calibration before shipment to ensure mechanical and control system compatibility under real operating conditions.


Manufacturing and Batch Delivery Capability


The manufacturing process of large-diameter high-pressure fully welded ball valves involves strict control over key procedures, including:

 · High-precision ball machining and concentricity control

 · Seat sealing performance verification under pressure

 · Full pressure and leakage testing of assembled valves

 · Actuator functional testing and stroke calibration
